Post subject:  The 100 Greatest Santaclausians of ALL Time part of the preparations for Adisadel's centenary we are looking for the top 100 Santaclausians of all time.

In your opinion who would you pick to be among this list of Santaclausians. The categories are diverse - sports, academics, best homo, best Head Pru, best Headmaster, best in academics, best name it...we will categorize the list and possibly have a vote if we end up with more than 100.

Let us hear from you now....the count down has started....

I will start with the following (the list is not in any particular order):

1. Dr. Ave Kludze Jnr. (Hamlyn, 1983) - Snr. NASA Engineer and the first African to command a space craft.
2. Kofi Osei, alias Sasta (Aglionby, 1976) - Track and Field Hockey star in the mid 70's
3. George Enchill, alias Sakina (Ebiradze, 1974) - Former national track and field star.
4. Gen. A. A. A. Afrifa (class of 1952) - First Santaclausian to become Ghana's Head of State in 1969
5. Master David Kofi Nyarko, (2008) - Outstanding academic performance at the WASSCE Exams (8As)
6. R. T. Orleans-Pobee (class of 1944) - Oldest serving Headmaster of the school and the most loved
7. Dr. Daniel Amponsah alias Koo Nimo (class of 1952) - One of Ghana's most talented musicians
8. Ebenezer Sakyi Hughes - Speaker of Ghana's Paliament

9. Robert Kweku Atta Gardiner (class of 1930) - Famous Economist

10. Komla Agbeli Gbedemah, (class of 1925) - Minister of Finance 1957 - 1961

11. J. Maxwell Awotwi (class of 1927) -School staff 1930-1970. Probably the oldest teaching Old Boy of the school. Fishes in the Fountain pond named 'Awotwi Babies'

12. J. A. Boateng - Academics: In 1935 he achieved the rare distinction of being the first person to win the three main prizes of the School, namely, the Hamlyn Greek, the Hare's Classics and the Fisher's Mathematics Prizes in a row.

13. G. Maclean Amissah (class of 1937) - Author of "Reminiscences of Adisadel" - the first comprehensive novel on Adisadel

14. George Mackenzie Pitcher (class of 1933) - Academics: As a Form 5 student in 1936, he won the Hare's Classics Prize - the first time it was won by a non sixth-form student.

15. George G. Asafu-Adjaye, - Academics: In 1923 he passed the Cambridge Senior School Certificate examination with distinction and obtained complete exemption from the London Matriculation, the first student to score such a feat in the country

16. Albert Hammond (class of 1928) - Academics: The first external student in Ghana to obtain the London University B.A. (Hons.) degree in Classics entirely by private study

17. Captain J. H. Tachie-Menson, - First Ghanaian to obtain a Master Mariner's Certificate and also the first African to command a merchant vessel on the high seas.

18. Gilbert Nii-Okai Addy (Knight, 1973) - Information Technolgy: Created the first website with information on Adisadel including a history skrch of the school

19. Otumfuo Nana Opoku Ware II - Asantehene

20. Rt. Revd. I.S.M. LeMaire, GM., D.D., Bishop of Accra
